Joint Venture Trees

Farmers have the option of purchasing the trees under a joint venture arrangement.

The joint venture arrangement involves Perigord Truffles of Tasmania in a relationship with the truffle farmer for a period of 15 years.

The company provides for the duration of the Joint Venture Arrangement:

• An ongoing agronomic advisory service on the management of the trufferie.
• The company is responsible for the truffle harvest with its specially trained dogs and harvesters.
• The company will be responsible for product grading and quality control.
• The company will take responsibility for the marketing of all truffles produced.
• The company undertakes to pursue and co-ordinate all available research and development funding for production and marketing.
